In the FoQaCiA project, we will significantly expand the theoretical basis for the design of quantum algorithms. Our primary focus will be on advancing the fundamental principles and methodologies that underpin quantum algorithm development. This includes exploring new algorithmic frameworks, optimizing existing quantum processes, and identifying innovative approaches to leverage quantum computing's unique capabilities.
The future success of quantum computing critically depends on advances at the most fundamental level. That large-scale investments in quantum implementations will only pay off if they can draw on additional foundational insights and ideas.
